Why You Should Join

1) You will make lots of new friends.
Who would not want to be part of an organization that is all about friendship? Not only will you develop a wonderful friendship with your Buddy, but you will also have the opportunity to meet and become friends with other Scotties, their Buddies, as well as a number of students on other campuses who are as passionate about friendship as you are.

2) You will truly make a difference in someone else's life.
As a College Buddy, you will truly impact the life of your Buddy through your time, encouragement, support, and love. In addition to making a difference in your Buddy's life, you will have a great deal of fun with him or her along with the chance to learn a number of valuable lessons from one another.

3) You will explore the city of Atlanta.
While spending time with your Buddy and the rest of the Agnes Scott Best Buddies Chapter, you will have the chance to visit a variety of different attractions within the city. These locations may include: the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Center of Puppetry Arts, CNN Center, High Museum of Art, Fernback Museum of Natural History, Fox Theater, Georgia Aquarium, Martin Luther King Jr. Center, New World of Coca-Cola, Piedmont Park, Stone Mountain Park, the Varsity, Woodruff Arts Center, Zoo Atlanta, along with many other exciting places.

4) You will be volunteering and having fun too.
Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Volunteering is a positive means not only to serve others, but a constructive way to figure out who you are and what you are passionate about. Along with helping others, you will enjoy spending time with your Buddy. As you serve in love, you will get an overwhelming sense of joy and accomplishment that you are truly making a difference in your Buddy's life as well as give him or her the feeling that someone genuinely cares about him or her.
